Important Note: Due to the ever changing global commerce environment, landing Brompton’s into our little shop on the prairie has been getting more challenging every year (and by challenging, what we mean is more expensive). To try and maintain some flexibility and timely arrivals in product availability we purchase all of our Brompton products from Brompton USA - and not from the UK directly. This allows us to get bikes and spare parts to you much quicker than ordering from jolly ‘ol England and also offers us a wide choice of easily available colours and models. Unfortunately, this also means we are forced to collect import duties as Canada has had a 13% import duty on non-electric bikes for many decades - and we cannot escape these punitive taxes. We have looked closely at trying to re-open direct orders from the UK but the long lead times, high minimum order amount, and expensive/complicated shipping charges more or less net out the same as just ordering from Brompton USA.
So, in the interest of transparency, while the bikes we advertise may have higher prices than other shops across Canada, please understand this is due to the import duty we must collect in order to continue to offer Brompton’s bicycles.

We have demos available for test rides and have access to various models and colours available in the US warehouse. Pricing for a well equipped models starts around $2699 and goes up from there depending on component specifications and paint finish.
